2025 NADXA Results:
The 2025 Edition of the special event wasFriday September 5th at 0000z and went through Sunday September 14th at 2359z. The NADXA willbe supporting the W6G call from NADXA members home QTHs in and around the greater Flagstaff, AZ area. W6T (AZ Rover 2) will be operating portable from the NADXA Communications trailer located next to the '40s Route 66 pavement (still in use) West of Parks, AZ. The status of W6S (AZ Rover 1) is a bit up in the air at this time.

2024 NADXA Results:
The 2024 Edition of the special event will begin on Friday September 6th at 5pm AZ time and will go thru Sunday September 15th at 5pm AZ time. The NADXA will again support three call signs for the Route 66 On The Air Special Event; W6S (Rover 1), W6G (Flagstaff), and W6T (Rover 2) with QSL cards that when lined up make a panorama of Arizona Route 66. This year W6S will operate portable from different Old 66 locations East of Flagstaff. W6T will operate portable along Route 66 approximately 3 miles west of Parks. W6G will be operating from NADXA members home QTHs in and around the greater Flagstaff, AZ area.
The bands really hot and cold this year but had a few really good runs. Jamming was an issue though. |

This year W6S operated mostly portable from (don't forget) Winona and was augmented by other club members.W6T operated portable from '40s Route 66 West of Parks, AZ. W6G operated from NADXA members home QTHs in the greater City of Flagstaff, AZ area. |

This year W6S operated from 5 different Old 66 locations East of Flagstaff. W6T operated from the intersection of the '20s, '30s, and '40s alignments of Route 66 West of Bellement and from abandoned '20s & '30s alignments near Parks, AZ. W6G operated from NADXA members home QTHs in or near Flagstaff, AZ. |
![]() The bands were soft this year but FT8 was added as a very popular mode for W6G and W6T. The photo on the top of the W6G card is a 360 degree panorama of Flagstaff's Route 66 Park where original cement of the 1940s alignment is preserved. |

| 2019 NADXA Results: NADXA again supported three call signs for the Route 66 On The Air Special Event; W6S (Rover 1), W6G (Flagstaff), and W6T (Rover 2) with QSL cards that when lined up make a panorama. Because this year is the 20th Anniversary of the NADXA starting the Route 66 On The Air Special Event, this year our QSLs make up a panorama of the inaugeral event certificate from 2000, a list of the NADXA members from that year, and a clip about how the NADXA came up with the idea. This year W6S operated from Old 66 East of Flagstaff in the town of (Don't Forget) Winona. W6T operated from Bellement on Old 66 West of Flagstaff and the Twin ArrowsTrading Post to the East. W6G operated from NADXA members home QTHs in and around Flagstaff. |

| 2018 NADXA Results: NADXA again supported three call signs for the Route 66 On The Air Special Event; W6S (Rover 1), W6G (Flagstaff), and W6T (Rover 2) with QSL cards that make a panorama. For the second year, W6F (Kingman) joined the panorama so it will again show the path of Route 66 across the entire State of Arizona. W6S operated from the Grand Canyon Caverns on Old 66 West of Seligman. W6T operated from Bellement on Old 66 West of Flagstaff and the Twin Arrows Trading Post to the East. W6G was NADXA members operating from their home QTHs. |

The NADXA supported three stations for the Route 66 On The Air Special Event; W6T (Rover 2), W6G (Flagstaff), and W6S (Rover 1) and again issued QSL cards that form a panorama. This year W6F (Kingman) was added to the panorma so the map stretches to show Route 66 across the entirestate of Arizona. |

This year W6T loaded up the steel truss bridge (shown on the QSL card) and used it as an antenna. |

| Once again a banner year for NADXA on Route 66! Club members operated W6G from Flagstaff to amass a total of 3988 contacts. A new record! In addition, N7VF, KW7I, and KD7ZIJ operated W6T from Oatman for a total of 1526 QSOs. Dave, NJ0W operated as a rover from multiple locations along Arizona Route 66 East of Flagstaff for a total of 1742 contacts as W6S. The leaders for W6G were N3AIU (2047 QSOs), NF7E (1002 QSOs), KD7RCJ (380 QSOs), and KG7OH (329 QSOs). If you worked all three stations be sure and request the QSLs that go together into a mural across Northern Arizona. |
