| Field Day 2010 |

| Plans for Field Day 2010 were changed at the last minute due to the massive Schultz fire that consumed some 20,000 acres of the San Francisco Peaks. Most of the East side was burned. Our planned site was evacuated the whole week prior to FD. It was again a joint operation with NADXA and the Coconino Amateur Radio Club, even though CARC was providing emergency communications for the Red Cross the entire week prior to FD. We operated from the West parking lot at Sinagua High School as a class 2A as we had in previous years and had a GOTA station as well as a 6 meter station. We finished third in the state of Arizona and sixth in the Southwestern division in class 2A. |
